A wish...

I can believe that all of my immediate "reality" is an instance that is created by the perceptions or possibly even thoughts that are in my mind, and therefore all I perceive could be a falsehood, so striping me of all purpose and meaning in this so called "life." In layman's terms, nothing is real as long as I can convince my my mind that it isn't, and there is no true meaning in life.

*sigh* if only i had that much control over my neurological functions...

Quote of the say, (I know i missed it yesterday, but its new, so give me a break...)

  1. The quote does not seem to be showing, so I will post it here:

“I put my heart and my soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process.”
    Vincent van Gogh quotes

  2. I do believe pretty much the same thing, i.e. that the purpose and meaning of my life is created by my own mind. And although I do lose my purpose sometimes, as long as I can find it again, it's not so bad..
What I didn't get was whether you're trying to find your purpose, or trying to lose it. (which doesn't really make much sense to me, but different people think diferently, I guess.. :\ )

  4. My fine sir, the word does in fact originate from my own mind, though i have noticed that there is another blog by the same name. I did think of it on my own though, if you would question my origionality.

  5. Thank you for your response, Apathetic Me. I am hoping for some dialogue.
It is your name that caught my interest in a Google search and reading your blog with its invitation to respond brings us together, at least for a moment.
