I will hit the love/ limmerence subject tommorow, as my last post before my holidays.
for today, only a quote. I'll make it a good one.
“To love is to risk not being loved in return. To hope is to risk pain. To try is to risk failure, but risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.”
I could'nt find who wrote this, but I liked it, so I hope you don't mind.

Freedom
Sorry for the break, I had to fix up a couple aspects of my life that, if left un-fixed, threatened to take away something i cared about. Funny that when you are 16, people have that much sway over you. (notice how i don't say control, you will see why in a bit.) Note to all of you out there in the world, It is a BAD idea to threaten someone with not much to lose... especially if you threaten them with something that they care quite a bit about.... *tch* stupid people...
Anywho, onto my main topic. I could be doing the Conscious and Subconscious right now, bit i decided to skip to liberty, and change it to freedom... Bit of a warp eh? So freedom... yes... These days you hear people, (usually the revolutionary types; teens, drunks, teen drunks, failed politicians...) complain how the government is trying to take away their freedom. (well, i here people say these things, though I'm not entirely confident on my sanity. ;) Whenever i hear someone say something along those lines, i feel a sudden urge to explain to them (probably a bit to harshly) that they have freedom, they just don't use it because they are scared of the consequences.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Law of nature it is, True, in this case the government/society conglomerate gets to chose what "equal and opposite" is, but hey, your choice. I find this a wonderful example were someone uses our pre-disposition for self-preservation for their own gain.
I guess that the only way to actually take away all of someones freedom is to kill them, and, if you belong to one of the many religions that believe in life after death, even then you are free, (see Suicide Bombers) so i guess it is all about interpretation. again...
Mankind are governed more by their feelings than by reason.

Emotion
Well, I'm beginning to think that this was a bad topic. Not much you can say about emotions can you? It is all... Variable. Nothing is exactly the same between one person and the next, which makes us unique, but also hard to explain. I guess the closest i can go to explaining emotion is... You cannot escape them, no mater how hard you try.
"Five to one against and falling..." she said, "four to one against and falling...three to one...two...one...probability factor of one to one...we have normality, I repeat we have normality." She turned her microphone off – then turned it back on, with a slight smile and continued: "Anything you still can’t cope with is therefore your own problem." -H2G2

Somthing Random
What to talk about...... Uh... How is everyone? Doing well?...
I have been at a loss for thoughts these past 3 days, due mostly to the majority of my mind either having nothing to say, or the more often, trying desperately to drown out one incessant... "subject," which i am glad to say that i cant talk to you about. Never relay been good with feelings...
I feel like i someone is trying to ask me a question, but all they will say is "So...?" Which, Truth be told, is very likely. Ah, that gives me an idea.
Today we shall talk about the Mind. Emotions, Subconscious and conscious desires, love, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness... I'm thinking of making it a series... Yeah, I'll do that.
Well, i have nothing to sat on those subjects at the moment, me being tired and otherwise distracted and all...
I will Start with emotions tomorrow and just go down the list.
Bye.

"And are you?" -Arthur Dent
"No, that's where it all falls down, of course." -Slartibartfast
"Pity, it sounded like quite a good lifestyle otherwise." -Arthur Dent

Life.
Everyone in this world has their own opinion on what life is like. Some more complex, admittedly, but others are very simple. Today, I will share my not so optimistic views on "the ultimate journey," but I would like to hear some of your opinions as well.
I tend to think of life as some sort of puzzle. Each bit of information in this world is a bit of the "grand canvas" I guess I will call it, and the more that you figure out, the more (or sometimes less :P) it makes sense. To be clear, when I talk about the "information" or "knowledge" I don't mean maths and sciences, I mean connections. Things that go together to make sense of this world, and sometimes that means accepting that you can never know everything, or even anything, because, as some say, nothing is absolute.
Oh, and people, if you don't send me some topics, I'm going to run out of things to say really fast...
and comment please, i appreciate Mythreyi and Anonymous commenting, but i could really use some variation here...

Updated Response Mecagnism
I decided to take a page out of Mythreyi's book and add a... "rating" type thing at the bottom of the post for those who either dont know what to say, or don't want to say anything.
Shoutout+ Knowlege
Today, as i stare at my celing, thinking about someone, i notice a patern in my thoughts. Every time i think that i am "usless" and how i pale in comparison to them, i find myself knowing what they would say, and it somehow gives me purpose. I guess im being.... "healed" or somthing. I have never been exactly known for my self confedence. So to that person, (you know who you are,) thank you. You make me happy.
enough of that, lets get down to the misanthropism, eh? Today i would like to talk about... truly knowing someone, and the improbability of it. What do you think knowing someone is? knowing their favorite music? their favorite book? their personality? i think that knowing someone is enough, and that people need their little secrets to live, but there are some out there who feel the need to know everything about someone. How they think, what they think, (well, i'm kinda good at knowing that anyway...) and every single aspect of their lives. i think that wanting that kind of knowlege is also based on wanting control... and even if you tried to get them to tell you, who is saying that they will speak the truth? So, anyone agree? disagree? think that i am wrong, imoral, and an idiot? well... what do you think?

Time, an illusion or a fixed construct? Man made or just man named? Discuss. I will pipe in with my views.
From The Hobbit, J.R.R. Tolkein
Chapter: Riddles in the dark.
"This thing all things devours
birds, beasts, trees, flowers
gnaws iron, bites steel
grinds hard stone to meal
slays kings, ruins towns
beats tall mountain down"

A wish...
I can believe that all of my immediate "reality" is an instance that is created by the perceptions or possibly even thoughts that are in my mind, and therefore all I perceive could be a falsehood, so striping me of all purpose and meaning in this so called "life." In layman's terms, nothing is real as long as I can convince my my mind that it isn't, and there is no true meaning in life.
*sigh* if only i had that much control over my neurological functions...

Fear. The number one motivator in this world today. We fear concequences, we fear opinions (of us or other things/ people), but most of all, we fear being alone. Why? Why do we fear being alone so much? What makes us strive so hard for someone to want us? For someone to recognise us, (not our features, but who we are) for someone to care...
I am not going to give my oppinion right now, i want to hear yours first. i want my opinions to in no way... "influence" yours.

Second Post Of The Day
Our parents tell us to be responsible, or we will never reach adulthood. Apparently, coming home at a certain time and doing whatever you are told are large prerequisites for adulthood. Funny, I don't see the “adults” following a curfew, or following orders. (unless they are given by the man holding their paycheck.)
My theory, crazy as it may be, is that “adults” are nothing but teenagers who have an illusion of power. To explain: Lets say that we have two humans, each born and raised in isolation to be exactly the same, personality and intellect wise, but one of them is much bigger. Now, when they are let to interact, what will happen? The bigger human fill feel superior to the smaller human, as is human nature, and the smaller human will feel, in turn, inferior to the smaller human, as is human nature.
You may ask; “how does this have anything to do with the teen/parent Paradox?” (okay, an exaggeration...) and I would say that we (the teens) are the little humans and they (adults) are the big humans. We, or preferably they, just need to learn that size isn't everything. And that power? It is only there because we give it to you.
Well, there is my crazy theory, what do you think? Fantasy, or an inevitable truth...
QUOTE OF THE DAY (AGAIN, BUT DIFFERENT THIS TIME.)
Hey, I'll even use the same theme:
Jesters do oft prove prophets.
~William Shakespeare
Another random thought, turned into a rant by obsession.
We, as humans, live our lives in a series of lines. Point A to Point B. We do this so often that sometimes, (for some, quite often) we forget what those... "goals" as it were, are. Sure, some will read this and and protest "No! Life is not linear! How can you say such a thing?! You deserve death!!!" and promptly hunt me down and kill me, but i never said that they had to be strait lines, did i? Each bend is a bit out of your way you have to go to achieve your goal, And if your goal changes altogether? Like it or not, that is an outcome.
You may be wondering why i am bringing up such a lighthearted, fun and altogether "swell" topic such as this, (ah, sarcasm...) and i guess i could let you know. It is because i hate it. I hate, to be more specific, the realization that this little revelation is undeniably true. See, if you live your life never noticing what has secretly gone wrong with your life, (or to be fair, what has secretly gone right) you can be fine, only consciously recognising your "achievements" and learning from (aka, acknowledging and forgetting) your "failures". (some would say mistakes, but at the rate some make them (i.e. me) you begin to notice how you made them, and Poof! a failure is born. (not literally, of course, for those lacking sex-ed training) Anywho, but if you realize that simple fact, (for those who cant keep up with my train of thought, i am referring to the "idea" of paragraph one.) You begin to notice everything, which, (to put in smart people terms,) sucks. Comment please :)
Oh, and I'm adding a new section to my blog, Quote of the day. Today's is:
"Like looking down on a lubricious chess set, isn't it? The king moves in tiny steps, with no direction, like a drunkard trying to avoid the archer's bolt. The others work their strategies and wait for the old man to fall. He has no power, yet all power moves in his orbit and to his mad whim. Do you know there's no fool piece on the chessboard, Kent?" "Methinks the fool is the player, the mind above the moves."

The Second Post
So, the second post hmm? I should probably talk about somthing... Ok, lets talk about our desisions in this blighted little world and how they efect us. Sounds fun no? Ok, here is an example. lets say that I meet someone that I like, and that person likes someone else. Now, i can chose to help that person with their potential love intrest, or i can chose to be a selfish insensitive git and fight for her. The number of people who do the second is so large, it is almost sad. I doubt any of them think of the conseqinces either... Now, second example. Now, lets say that i see someone getting the living daylight beat out of them by someone twice as big as me. now i can chose to be the hero (albeit a broken and battered one) and atempt to stop said beating, or i can chose to walk away, and face the possibility that the guy just might die. Now the people who chose the second option for this particular category is even more stageringly large than for the first example. Shows how bad we are at thinking about others... or even our selves somtimes.
